Building relationships with active military and veterans is an excellent idea. After finding this site and reading the Fire/Rescue article, I've reached out to some of our local military agencies at a recent recruiting event. It was great to talk with our nation's heroes about opportunities to continue to serve following their commitments and retaining the values and brotherhood they had in the military.

I encourage everyone to reach out to your local military and veterans agencies.
